Breast cysts are fluid-filled pockets that tend to swell at the end of the menstrual cycle, when the body retain more fluids. There is a small cyst size, and there are great until the size of an egg. If the massage, the cyst can be slightly altered form, and most can move under the skin. The blockage or widening the channel in the underlying breast tissue could be the cause of the cyst. Cysts usually appear in the age of 40 years, a few years before menopause. Because the cyst will usually disappear after menopause, then it is likely that hormonal changes in ovariumlah cause changes in the size of the cyst.

Therefore, it should still see a doctor any changes or thickening when doing BSE (breast self-examination) every month. Although most breast lumps are harmless. But because there is too dangerous, it is important to keep it checked out to a doctor.
How Can You Do Realize?
Most cases of breast cancer can be detected early on through breast self-examination (BSE). Starting at age 20 years, all women are encouraged to examine their own breasts once a month to detect any suspicious lumps in the breast. If you have not experienced menopause, the best time to conduct the examination is a few days after the end of menstruation, because at that time was not very sensitive breasts or swollen anymore. But for those who have gone through menopause / no longer menstruating, specify only one date and do regular checks on that date each month. The trick is as follows:
- Standing with bare-chested in front of the mirror. With both arms at your sides, look at what there is a concave part or parts that are interested in, or a change in size, or shape. Make sure that the nipple does not go into, except if it had always been into the nipple (congenital). Place both hands on hips, then place it on the back of the head. Check if there are signs of the same on each side.
- Next, go to the bathroom, wet, and sabuni breast. Put your left hand behind his head, and check your left breast with your right hand. Suppose the surface of the breast as a clock, and put his right hand at 12 o'clock position, at the top of the breast approximately 1 cm below the collarbone (clavicula). Datarkan palm of the hand, then with fingertips pressed together along with the suppression by the palm of the 3 finger middle finger, ring finger and index finger (not the tip of the finger), do a small circular motion, and the feeling is palpable lumps. At each position to do a little light pressure, medium and deep pressure. Next, move your hand towards 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, and so on. When he returned to the 12 o'clock position, slide the tip of a finger near the nipple breasts (about 1 cm) and repeat the same movement. Perform the first round in a circle, then make a smaller circle again. Continue to use the same pattern, until every part of the breast including the nipple have been checked.
- To check the discharge from the nipple, make a V shape with your thumb and forefinger, and place it on the left and right nipple. Press the areola (the dark circle around the nipple) and dance slowly upwards. Then change the position of V before, so that the thumb and forefinger of each lies in the areola above and below the nipple. Press and gently pull upward. Then change the position of V before, so that the thumb and forefinger of each lies in the areola above and below the nipple. Press and gently pull upward. (The principle is to do pemencetan nipple carefully and see if there is fluid or blood coming out of the nipple).
- Conclude by examining the area closest to the breast, below the armpits, because there is also contained breast tissue and lymph nodes that transmit lymphatic fluid into the breast tissue.
- Repeat the entire procedure using the left hand on the right breast.
- After the shower, sleep on your back and check your breasts once more. To examine the right breast, place a small pillow under your right shoulder and place your right hand under his head, and apply pressure in a circular motion as mentioned above. To examine the left breast, place a small pillow under your left shoulder and once again feel the entire breast merat to find if there was a bump.
- If the breast is usually due to a change fibrosistik berbenjol, note how many bumps are there, where the location, and size. Every month, check to see the change. If you already know well how your breasts, so if one day there was a new lump, or lumps persist for 2 or 3 menstrual cycles, or whose size is getting bigger, then immediately see a doctor.
